As fans wait for the final season of Netflix’s Fuller House, Andrea Barber wishes her co-star Lori Loughlin could have been there.
It was confirmed this summer that Loughlin, 55, in the midst of her college admissions scandal, will not be featured in the final season.
Barber, 55, appeared on People Now, where she said that her co-star ‘should have been there’ for the final season.

‘It was really sad, and we could feel her absence,’ Barber said. ‘It just felt like there was a hole in the whole season but also in that final episode. She should’ve been there, and I’m sorry that she wasn’t.’
Barber added that she has been communicating with Loughlin throughout the ordeal and said, ‘She’s doing great. She’s doing as good as possible.’
‘She’s one of the sweetest, kindest and most down-to-earth people I’ve ever met. I love her, I love her unconditionally,’ Barber said.

Communicating: Barber added that she has been communicating with Loughlin throughout the ordeal and said, ‘She’s doing great. She’s doing as good as possible’

Loughlin was written off the show after her involvement in the college admissions scandal was uncovered earlier this year.
Loughlin and her husband, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, allegedly paid $500,000 to William Singer to falsely make their daughters Olivia Jade, 20, and Isabella Rose, as members of the USC crew team to get priority admission.

They were charged with one count each of conspiracy to commit federal programs bribery, in addition to their previous charges of money laundering conspiracy, conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud and honest services mail and wire fraud.
They plead not guilty to those charges, but an additional charge of conspiracy to commit federal programs bribery was added in October and they have not yet plead to that as of yet.
Loughlin’s trial is slated to begin in 2020, and if found guilty of the charges, she could face up to 50 years in prison.

Barber also revealed that she made her writing debut in the final season of Fuller House, which she said was ‘so cool.’
When asked about plot specifics of the episode she wrote, Barber said it’s about ‘doing college tours, because Ramona and Jackson, the two teenagers on the show, are getting ready to graduate, so we take them on a college tour.’
She said she used some of her own college experiences, including being in a sorority, and used them for the episode she wrote, which is in the second half of the final season.
