Iniesta is a doubt for Barcelona’s Champions League return leg against Barcelona next week
However, he must surely be doubtful for the second leg of the last-16 tie against Chelsea at the Nou Camp on March 14, with the scores tied at 1-1 following the first match.
The tie is delicately-poised after Lionel Messi cancelled out Willian’s opener in the first leg at Stamford Bridge on February 20.
Iniesta is almost certain to miss Barcelona’s visit to Malaga on Saturday evening as well.
Messi curled home a sublime free-kick to hand Barcelona the lead in their top of the table clash with Atletico.
