Andy Cohen takes son Ben to watch ‘uncle’ John Mayer perform at Madison Square Garden – and shares adorable photos of their night out

Andy Cohen brought a special plus one to John Mayer’s concert at Madison Square Garden.

The TV host, 55, watched his good friend play at the iconic venue alongside his four-year-old son, Ben.

The duo got the best seats in the house – right next to the stage – as they watched John perform to a massive crowd.

Andy posted photos from the concert to his Instagram account on Wednesday, along with a snap of what appeared to be Ben’s backstage pass.

‘Come, hear Uncle John’s Band! First concert of what I hope will be a long run of them!’ Andy captioned the post.

The first photo in the post showed Andy holding his son’s hand as they stood mere feet away from John performing on stage.

The duo appeared riveted as they stood behind staffers monitoring the show adjacent to the stage.

In another adorable shot, Ben watched the show from his father’s shoulders.

Aside from his prime seats, Ben even appeared to get the VIP treatment.

Andy showed Ben’s name badge, suggesting he had been granted backstage access.

John appeared to be relaxing in the background of the photo, though was slightly out of focus.

Andy and John have been close friends for years, and the Your Body Is A Wonderland singer appeared on Cohen’s Bravo talk show Watch What Happens Live on Monday.

In 2022, Andy said the Neon singer was ‘very in touch with his emotions’ as he talked about their friendship on Table For Two with Bruce Bozzi.

‘He is someone to say, “I love you and I cherish you and I cherish our friendship” — just this stuff that straight guys aren’t necessarily supposed to say,’ he explained.

Andy welcomed Ben, his first child, in February 2019 via surrogate. Last year, the Bravo star welcomed his second child via surrogate – daughter Lucy.

Andy often features his son and daughter on his Instagram page, always making sure to honor their birthdays.

But as Ben has gotten older, Andy has kept the child’s face out of view in photos and videos to protect his privacy.

John will be touring throughout the U.S. in October and November, before going overseas for the international leg of his tour in March of 2024.
