They’re the loved-up couple who met at a Melbourne cafe in 2015.
But on Wednesday, Andy Lee, 36, revealed that it’s not exactly domestic bliss in the home he shares with Rebecca Harding.
Speaking on his radio show, Hamish and Andy, the presenter said that his 25-year-old girlfriend’s dog had destroyed a lot of his valuables.
Not man’s best friend then? Andy Lee, 36, revealed that he’s battling with his girlfriend Rebecca Harding’s dog for her affections, and wants it kicked out of the house
‘The dog ate all the trees on the balcony, chewed up my irrigation, gnawed all my golf balls,’ he told co-presenter Hamish Blake.
Taking exception to the ‘about 100’ balls the dog had chewed and the fact he ‘had to throw out 35 balls’ Andy insinuated that the dog, named Nellie, might have to go.
Hamish quickly picked up on the hint and quipped: ‘You’ve been playing Nellie like an absolute fiddle… There’s no way Nellie was going to beat you politically.
‘You’ve framed Nellie. You’ve Putin’d Nelly. You’ve played her perfectly.’
History: Andy and Rebecca, 25, have been together since they met in a Melbourne cafe in 2015. Although they briefly parted ways for six months last year they rekindled their love in December
