Anna Paul looks unrecognisable as she arrives in Sydney in black tracksuit and no makeup

She may be one of the biggest influencers in the country, but Anna Paul was completely unrecognisable from her Instagram grid when she touched down in Sydney on Monday.

The social media phenomenon who has amassed a cult following on TikTok opted to ditch her glamorous look in favour of a pair of black trackies as she made her through the airport.

Anna, 23, completed her ensemble with a white singlet and a pink water bottle a day after WA police were forced to shut down her meet-and-greet in Perth due to safety issues.

Anna, who is dubbed Australia’s answer to Kim Kardashian, wore her raven tresses in a bun and opted for minimal make-up for the trip.

The star, who has a combined seven million followers on Instagram and TikTok, looked to be in a good mood as she chatted with long-time boyfriend Glen Thomson.

Glen also opted for comfort in a pair of brown trackies and grey slides. He finished his look with a black baseball cap and backpack.

The couple were joined by Anna’s brother, Atis Paul.

Rowdy fans stormed the mall where she was appearing and caused a crowd crush.

Footage posted on social media shows hordes of followers packed shoulder-to-shoulder outside the Stax store, an activewear brand promoted by Paul, on Hay Street, chanting ‘Anna!’ as they waited to catch a glimpse of the star.

But WA Police were forced to intervene when ‘tensions’ arose after some attendees reportedly ‘jumped the queue’ as a massive crowd converged on the venue.

‘Police attended a clothing store store in Hay Street Mall at the request of store’s management due to the store expecting about 200 to 300 people to attend an event publicised on social media,’ WA Police said.

‘A significantly larger crowd than expected attended. Tensions among some parts of the crowd were noticed to increase with allegations of ‘queue jumping’.

‘Due to safety the West Australia police had to shut down the Perth meet and greet early,’ she wrote.

‘It became a huge safety hazard… thank you for being amazing… I am so so sorry we tried our very best to work with the police but it got too much.’

Dozens camped outside the store overnight to be first in the queue, which had grown to several thousand by 7am, five hours before the event was due to begin.

As the crowd numbers spiralled out of control, police intervened and shut the event down just 15 minutes after it began.
