She is rarely seen without her trademark sunglasses.
But for a second time this week, Anna Wintour has opted to go without her signature shades at the Australian Open in Melbourne on Tuesday.
The 69-year-old showed off her age-defying visage to watch the tennis match between Australia’s Ash Barty and Czech Petra Kvitová.

Anna gracefully made her way down the steep steps to her front row, court side seats.
The iconic Vogue editor looked elegant in her floral full-length dress, which she accessorised with a sparkling statement necklace and chic snakeskin boots.
She also toted a floral printed clutch, and appeared to be holding on to her phone and sunglasses – in case she would need them later.

While her famously frosty demeanour earned her the nickname ‘Nuclear Wintour’, there were no signs of an icy attitude as she warmly greeted the tennis fans sitting alongside her.
Earlier in the week, the fashionista also decided to go without her staple accessory of sunglasses as she attended Roger Federer’s game against Greek sensation Stefanos Tsitsipas.
Anna first announced her plans to visit Melbourne for the Australian Open last November.

She said in a statement: ‘As a lifelong tennis fan who’s spent years watching the Australian Open on television at odd hours of the day and night in New York and elsewhere, I’m delighted to be headed to Melbourne to see my very first Australian Open up close and in-person.’
According to a 2017 report in the Telegraph Anna is such a fan of the sport, she sets an alarm for 5am everyday to play a game before heading off to work.
Aside from her dedication to being playing the game and being a spectator Anna has also cultivated friendships with some of tennis’ elite.
Some of her longtime friends in the game include Roger Federer and Serena Williams.
