Annastacia Palaszczuk has reportedly fallen head over heels for her new boyfriend Dr Reza Adib after just a year of dating.
The Queensland Premier has been spotted with the weight-loss surgeon on her arm at countless events, with the pair most recently seen sharing a kiss at the State Of Origin decider.
A source told The Courier Mail the pair are ‘completely besotted with each other’, while another said they’re now ‘inseparable’.
‘Before he came along, she was going home to an empty house,’ the source said.

The Iranian-born surgeon has two young children from his previous marriage to Carol Adib, while Ms Palaszczuk was married twice before.
The premier hasn’t had a relationship as significant as with Dr Adib since she stepped into the role in 2015.
The two were spotted at the State of Origin decider on Wednesday, cosied-up in matching maroon scarves inside and outside the game.
The couple have been very public with their relationship, visiting red carpets, races, and awards nights together.
Ms Palaszczuk even attracted criticism for attending the Logies with Dr Adib and also for inviting him into an official meeting regarding the Brisbane Olympics.
She was previously married to a former Labor chief-of-staff Simon Every and journalist and political commentator George Megalogenis.

Last month Ms Palaszczuk shot down claims she is a ‘part-time premier’ who spends too much time socialising while at the Logies with her boyfriend.
She insisted she was on top of her work load – and visiting high-profile events was ‘part of her job’.
‘I work seven days a week,’ Ms Palaszczuk told 7News.
‘I’ve got a budget coming down, I’m across that, and I’ll be back at my desk first thing tomorrow morning.
‘And most of these events are on weekends so, we could be at home watching television but we’re out here doing the job Queenslanders expect me to be doing.’
