Anne Hathaway looks effortlessly chic in flares as she goes sightseeing in Rome while on holiday with husband Adam Shulman and their children

She’s been enjoying a family holiday in Rome.  

And Anne Hathaway put on a stylish display as she went sightseeing with her husband Adam Shulman in the Italian capital on Sunday.

The actress, 39, looked effortlessly chic as she wandered through the cobbled streets with Adam, 40, to visit the Basilica San Clemente.

Anne slipped into a pair of Seventies style flared jeans as she tucked in a white T-shirt with a zig zag print. 

She layered over a navy blazer and added a cream cross body bag to carry all her essentials. 

Her brunette locks were worn lose in a straightened styled with a centre parting as she wore a pair of aviator sunglasses to shield her eyes from the sun.

To complete her outfit she wore some heeled black suede boots and donned a protective face mask.   

Their outing comes after Anne looked every inch the doting mother as she carried her youngest son, Jack, two, in her arms on Friday. Anne is also mother to son Jonathan, five.  

The actress looked typically stylish in a grey jumper layered over a white shirt, and teamed with light blue jeans.

Keeping the cold at bay, she added a navy blue blazer to stay warm and tied a chic scarf around her neck.

In an attempt to stay under the radar, the Princess Diaries star wore a baseball cap and hid her eyes behind a pair of sunglasses.

Her brunette locks were swept back into a ponytail that fluttered in the breeze as she prepared for a day of sightseeing in a pair of comfy trainers.

The Italian trip comes as Anne is currently adhering to a busy work schedule as she promotes her upcoming Apple TV+ show WeCrashed, which comes out in mid-March. 

Anne stars alongside Jared Leto as they portray Rebekah and Adam Neumann in the series based on the incredible rise and fall of their shared workspace startup WeWork. 

Inspired by the podcast WeCrashed: The Rise and Fall of WeWork, the Apple TV+ series will follow the larger than life story of a charismatic founder who floundered a multi-billion dollar business plan.

WeCrashed will document the ‘greed-filled rise and inevitable fall of WeWork and the narcissists whose chaotic love made it all possible,’ according to Variety. 

Her acting career, which has spanned two decades, began back in 1999 on the short-lived television series Get Real, before landing her breakout role in 2001’s Princess Diaries. 

After becoming a household name in The Devil Wears Prada, she has become one of the highest-paid actresses in the world.

She’s also taken home numbers awards, including an Emmy for her voice work in The Simpsons in 2010, a Golden Globe for Les Misérables in 2013 and an Oscar for the same role as Fantine.
