Anne Hathaway puts on a daring display in a sheer polka dot gown at the Berlin Film Festival

Anne Hathaway made a show-stopping entrance on the red carpet for the premiere of her film She Came To Me at the Berlin Film Festival on Thursday. 

The actress, 40, who stars as Patricia Lauddem in the romantic comedy, looked sensational at the event held at the Berlinale Palast.

In a bold fashion statement, Anne wore a completely sheer gown which was covered with leather twists and polka dots. 

The Catwoman star’s nude bodysuit was visible underneath the daring dress and she amped up the sex appeal with leather evening gloves.

Anne her brunette hair up into a neat high bun and accessorised her head-turning look with silver drop earrings.

Anne put on a very confident display as she strutted down the red carpet in her sky-scraper heels. 

She Came To Me ‘follows a composer who suffers writer’s block and rediscovers his passion after an adventurous one-night stand’.

It stars Anne as Patricia Lauddem while Peter Dinklage portrays Steven Lauddem and Marisa Tomei is Katrina.

The festival opened with Rebecca Miller’s drama film.

A live video stream with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was played during the opening ceremony.

During the festival,  Steven Spielberg will be honoured with a special homage at the festival by presenting him with the Honorary Golden Bear for lifetime achievement and screening his films in Homage section. 

Anne’s work frenzy over the past year started with her role in the Apple TV+ limited miniseries – WeCrashed – that premiered March 18.

WeCrashed follows the entrepreneurial rise and fall of WeWork, one of the world’s most valuable startups, and the characters whose chaotic love made it all possible. 

Jared Leto portrays WeWork co-founder Adam Neumann, while Hathaway slips into the shoes of his wife, Rebekah Neumann, and Kyle Marvin plays WeWork co-founder Miguel McKelvey.

Among the actors with recurring roles in the eight-episode series: America Ferrera, Campbell Scott, Anthony Edwards, O. T. Fagbenle, Steven Boyer, Kelly AuCoin, Cricket Brown, Andrew Burnap, Asmeret Ghebremichael, Peter Jacobson, Kim Eui-sung and Theo Stockman.

Both Hathaway and Leto also served as executive producers.

From the WeCrashed series shoot, Hathaway went on to work on the period drama Armageddon Time, which also stars Anthony Hopkins and Jeremy Strong, from October 2021 through until near the end of last year.

The Brooklyn, New York native also stars alongside Thomasin McKenzie in the film Eileen, based on the Ottessa Moshfegh bestseller, which wrapped in New Jersey in early February.
