The body of a woman has been found in a unit in Brisbane overnight prompting police to declare a crime scene.
Officers were called to an apartment block on Franklin Street in Annerley, in Brisbane’s south, at about 9 pm on Thursday night.
A woman believed to be 45 years old, was found dead inside the unit.
A 53-year-old man, who is known to the woman, is assisting police with inquiries.
Police have declared a crime scene with investigations to determine the cause of the woman’s death ongoing.
