Another cheating scandal on The Block? Tempers flare as foremen Keith and Dan help Kirsty and Jesse finish their build as they run out of money

The Block has been recovering in recent weeks from the cheating scandal that rocked the show.

And on Tuesday’s episode, tempers flared on site as foremen Keith and Dan helped struggling contestants Kirsty Lee Akers and Jesse Anderson finish their build.

It led the likes of rivals Ronnie and Georgia and Mitch and Mark to say how unfair they thought it was, seeing as they had to pay tradesmen to finish the job on time.

Kirsty and Jesse have the biggest house on The Block and only one tradesman left, Paulie, to help them with the front gardens, facade, and and unfinished areas in their house with only one week left on site.

They also had almost ran out of money for their build.

‘This house was always going to be impossible to finish by yourself, mathematically, with the budget you had we knew whoever inherited this house you’d have issues,’ Keith said, as he went to help the pair.

‘You guys have been fantastic, you’ve worked the hardest and this is what The Block is all about… we don’t care about the ramifications with the other contestants, we’re going to help you out,’ he added before getting to work.

Ronnie and Georgia and Mitch and Mark however were fuming at the news.

Ronnie said it was an act of ‘charity’ and Mitch and Mark thought it was unfair.

‘At the end of the day this is the last week, Luke and I are done stirring the pot… if people need help, we’re happy for them to get help.’

This week on the show has been dubbed ‘chaos week’ as the teams scramble to finish their build ahead of the auctions.
