Another influencer has jumped on the trend of shaving her baby’s head – after Ruby Tuesday Matthews says it makes hair grow ‘thicker and faster’
Influencer Ruby Tuesday Matthews whipped her fans into a frenzy last week after admitting she shaved her newborn daughter Holiday’s head.
It now appears other influencers are jumping on the trend with Chloe Szepanowski, 24, posting photos to Instagram of her three-month-old son, Sunny, sporting a freshly shaved head.
Eagle-eyed fans noticed young Sunny is clean shaven in the latest snaps shared by Chloe just days after Ruby sparked the baby shaving trend.

‘Chloe Szep shaving her baby’s head? She posted pics on her Insta feed where he has hair and in recent story’s he has nothing,’ one fan asked Instagram watchdog account Influencer Updates AU .
The account jumped in and suggested Chloe is ‘maybe doing the same thing @rubytuesdaymatthews did’.
The account later claimed in a post: ‘Ruby and Chloe have sparked a new trend, shaving their babies heads.’

It didn’t take long for some followers to clap back at the suggestion the influencers were behind this ‘trend’.
One followers wrote ‘it’s been a tradition for many cultures for years’ with another agreeing many parents shaved their babies heads for cultural reasons.
It comes after Ruby, 27, who gave birth to her baby girl in September, said she shaved the head of all her three children at four months old to make their hair more manageable.

Celebrity watchdog account Influencer Updates claimed ‘Ruby and Chloe have sparked a new trend, shaving their babies heads’
‘My kids are born with dark hair that looks crazy patchy. I find shaving it makes it grow faster, thicker and more even,’ she explained on Instagram.
It didn’t take long for many of Ruby’s 235,000 followers to ‘lose it’ over her unique parenting approach.
One fan wrote they also shaved their daughter’s head and ‘it works amazingly’.
Another said, ‘I did this too and everyone lost their mind. But I’m a hairdresser and it actually works.’
