Ant and Dec look in good spirits as they head to the Britain’s Got Talent studios with the contestants ahead of the grand final

Ant and Dec arrived at the Britain’s Got Talent final ahead of showtime on Sunday.

The Geordie duo, both 48, will take on their usual presenting duties on the grand final of the ITV1 talent show and were seen arriving with some of the contestants at the Hammersmith Apollo in London.

Ant McPartlin seemed to be in good spirits as he gave a smile and covered his eyes with a dark set of shades.

Declan Donnelly, on the other hand, kept his head down while he looked at his phone on his way into the theatre.

Opera singer Innocent Masuku looked to be in good spirits as he arrived.

And Sydnie Christmas – who has just been unveiled as the favourite to win –  looked over joyed as she walked towards the theatre with her ever-supportive grandmother.

The budding West End star, 28, had a sign around her neck that proclaimed that she was on vocal rest but that didn’t dampen her spirits as she threw her thumbs up into the air.

Sydnie sailed through to Sunday’s final after winning her semi-final heat with her rendition of Frank Sinatra’s My Way that wowed judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli.

Now, Ladbrokes has made Amanda’s Golden Buzzer act the overwhelming favourite at 2/5 to be crowned champion, with comedian Alex Mitchell next in the betting at 4/1 ahead of Abigail & Afronitaa (7/1).

Elsewhere, every other act is currently 12/1 or higher, while Northants Sings Out and Trixy head into tonight’s final priced as the current rank outsiders at 66/1 apiece.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: ‘We’ve seen some sensational acts along the way, but it all boils down to tonight’s final, where the odds suggest it’s going to take something pretty special to stop Sydnie Christmas from winning the series.’

Magician Jack Rhodes is next with odds of 12/1, opera singer Innocent Masuku stands at 16/1 and jump rope group Haribow is at 33/1, along with impressionist Mike Woodhams.
