Ant and Dec’s Limitless Win viewers in tears during Saturday night’s show as father-son duo win a ‘life-changing’ £250,000

Ant and Dec’s Limitless Win viewers were left in tears during Saturday night’s show after a ‘lovely’ father-son duo walked away with £250,000.

David, 67, and his son Mark, 40, took part in the latest episode in what became a nail-biting game as they attempted to win money for their family.

And fans took to the duo instantly, revealing they were ‘chuffed’ when the pair chose to walk away with a quarter of a million pounds while they still had 29 lives.

The pair were in disbelief at their win, as David revealed he had cancer the year before while his son gushed over how he would spend the money travelling.

On winning the money, Mark said: ‘I’m visually impaired but it hasn’t stopped me enjoying life. Travelling, doing fun things!’

Meanwhile his father said: ‘The voice, as you can tell, is slightly hoarse. I had cancer on my vocal cords last year.’

As host Declan Donnelly asked David to ‘sum up’ how it felt to be taking home £250,000, the father said: ‘I think my face says it all, I’m just too emotional, I’m sorry.’

He hugged his also-emotional son Mark, who when asked the same question said it was a ‘life-changing’ amount of money, adding: ‘I’m a mess, I’m an absolute mess.’

Later in the show, Mark called his mother, and David’s wife, and said ‘Hi mum, I’m still here, hang on’ before stopping to gather himself as he got emotional. He continued: ‘We just won £250,000!’

‘What?’ she exclaimed. ‘What? No! Oh, my clever boys.’

In a pre-game interview, Mark revealed he would spend his money on his ‘dream’ of moving to Brighton and travelling with his wife.

‘It just depends how we’d do it, whether it’s in a car or a campervan,’ he added.

The duo captured the hearts of viewers, with one writing on X, formerly Twitter: ‘Shed a tear for that father and son duo on #limitlesswin. So pleased for them.’
