Anthony Joshua teamed up with Michael B. Jordan to surprise young aspiring actors from Watford with a once-in-a-lifetime acting workshop, organised through Joshua’s community charity, Clean Herts Community (CHC).

While the two-time heavyweight world champion dialled in virtually from Nigeria, where he’s currently training, Jordan made a special appearance in person.

In a video shared by AJ, he’s seen chatting with the students over Zoom before teasing a surprise guest.

Moments later, the room explodes with excitement as Michael B. Jordan walks in — prompting screams, cheers, and a flurry of phones capturing the unforgettable moment.

Joining Jordan was fellow actor Jack O’Connell, and together they offered invaluable advice, shared behind-the-scenes stories from the film industry, and helped the young performers hone their craft.

The young actors were later invited to attend the red carpet premiere of Sinners, Jordan and O’Connell’s latest film, at London’s Leicester Square.

The plan worked perfectly!!

We’ve been working on a surprise with @WarnerBrosUK for all our aspiring @cleanhertsco actors, and yesterday it all came together!!!

The workshop is the latest in a series of initiatives from CHC, which aims to create meaningful opportunities for young people in Joshua’s hometown of Watford.

This year alone, the charity has hosted football camps, cooking classes, and science workshops, and even teamed up with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson in November to involve Watford youth in the launch of his Christmas blockbuster Red One.

Joshua, who last fought in a tough loss against Daniel Dubois, is currently in Nigeria focused on training.

A return to the ring is expected soon, with fans eager to see the Olympic gold medalist back in action.
