Anthony Michael Hall is a dad at 55! Actor welcomes baby boy with wife Lucia Oskerova, 32

The Breakfast Club actor Anthony Michael Hall has become a father at 55 with the arrival of his baby son Michael last month.

Anthony joyously broke the news this week, announcing that his wife Lucia Oskerova, 32, gave birth to their 9lb 70z little boy on June 1.

‘It’s great. We’re excited,’ the Saturday Night Live alumnus told People magazine. ‘That first month of parenting is pretty wild.’

The name was chosen in honor of the fact that Anthony himself was born Michael Anthony Hall, a name he had to change when he entered showbiz in the 1970s because there was already a Michael Hall in the Screen Actors Guild.

‘I knew I did want to name him Michael and my wife also loved that name, even before she met me,’ the proud new father explained.

‘So we’ve shared that, and then we decided to go with the suffix so he’s Michael Anthony Hall II because there are a lot of juniors in the world. There’s nothing wrong with that, but we figured we wanted to keep that full name.’

As for fatherhood, he shared: ‘Everything that everybody tells you is pretty true: you lose sleep and it’s the craziest time, but it’s the best time. So we’re really enjoying it.’
