Anthony Yarde has been parading his qualities for Box Nation in an open session in anticipation of his clash with Norbert Nemesapati on Saturday.
The bout will is part of the under-card for WBO middleweight title fight between Willie Monroe Jr and holder, Billy Joe Saunders at the Copper Box Arena, London.
The event has been somewhat overshadowed by Gennady Golovkin’s middleweight showdown with Canelo Alvarez in Las Vegas the same night, but despite their differing platforms, with GGG defending his WBA, WBC and IBF belts on the glittery stage of Sin City and Yarde’s appearance remaining in the UK , the occasion carries great weight.
Anthony Yarde gives a demonstration of what to expect from his fight on Saturday
The 30-year-old appeared in a Box nation open session ahead of Norbert Nemesapati fight
In the session Yarde made a point of looking composed, smug and generally confident
Surrounded by his trainers he took part in both hand and footwork drills
It is an opportunity to see one of the upcoming light-heavyweights in action, and someone tagged ‘The Beast’ must be worth a look.
As is with every fight, there must be ‘hype’, and Yarde brings just that as an undefeated (12-0) professional after July’s first-round demolition of Richard Baranyi for the WBO European title.
The Hungarian Nemesapati is challenging Yarde for this belt, as well as the current vacated WBO inter-Continental Light Heavyweight title. Despite the importance that such a fight carries, Yarde looked to add a ‘fun’ taste to the affair, as he shows his personality in a Box Nation exclusive session.
The 26-year-old, dressed in the classic black and gold combination, is seen skipping in front of the cameras, and it should be noted the smug look on his face, oozing confidence but also with a huge Chelsea smile-like grin.

As mentioned previously, his nickname says it all: ‘The Beast’, and his record backs that up with 11 knock-outs to his name and he is clearly in good confidence, but his opponent carries more experience, with 31 fights behind him, and just three defeats.
Despite this though, Yarde is clearly sending his opponent a message. A message that shouldn’t be taken lightly.
Yarde has never been beaten in his 12 professional fights with 11 knock-outs recorded
And is the current holder of the WBO European light heavyweight title
