Protesters beating drums and clanging cow bells stood outside President Joe Biden’s hotel in Dallas on Thursday morning, calling for a ceasefire in the Middle East.

‘If we don’t get justice, you don’t get no sleep,’ the crowd of about 20 people shouted repeatedly.

They gathered outside the Fairmont Hotel around 6 am. Biden, who is not a morning person, usually wakes up around 7 am.

Another group of protesters was waiting for the president at his fundraiser in Houston, standing outside in the pouring rain to demand a ‘ceasefire’ and ‘free Palestine.’

Pro-Palestinian supporters have been trailing the president since the war in the Middle East began after Hamas’ October 6th attack on Israel. They have been referring to the president as ‘Genocide Joe.’

In some Democratic primaries, voters are casting ballots for ‘no candidate’ or another alternative to register their protest with Biden’s policies.

In Texas, Biden got a double whammy on Thursday when he was in the Lone Star State to raise money for his re-election campaign.

The latest round came as Israeli forces planned a ground invasion of Rafah and the U.S. introduced a resolution in the United Nations calling for an immediate ceasefire.

As he left Dallas, the protesters positioned themselves so Biden’s motorcade drove right past them on its way to the Dallas airport.

They waved signs calling for a ceasefire and one that read ‘in November we will remember.’

The president travelled to Houston for a fundraiser in the wealthy River Oaks suburb for a fundraiser with trial lawyers.

As his motorcade pulled up to the private home, a block down the street protesters banged drums and shouted as the rain poured down on them.

Biden has been a huge supporter of Israel’s in its fight against Hamas, but, lately, has come under massive pressure both home and abroad to get a ceasefire in place.

The president has called for a temporary one in order to free hostages and get much-needed food and medical aid to the people of Gaza, who are facing famine like conditions.

‘The talks are ongoing,’ White House spokesman John Kirby said Wednesday of the peace talks. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken is in Cairo to keep the conversations going.
