Antoine Griezmann is no stranger to crazy hairstyles and the Atletico Madrid man has once again surprised fans with another one.

The Atletico Madrid forward took to his Instagram story to show off his latest do, having added smiley face to his blonde hair.

Grizemann is currently enjoying his holidays after a long season with Atletico and France.

There are some doubts over his future with reports that Atletico may be willing to sell him due to their financial situation.

Griezmann reportedly has a release clause of less than £22m in his contract.

He enjoyed one of the best seasons of his career in 2022-23, registering 15 goals and 17 assists in 38 league appearances as Atletico finished third in LaLiga.

He also starred in the World Cup in Qatar, as he was one of France’s standout performers in their run to the final before they were beaten on penalties by Argentina.

According to L’Equipe, Griezmann is happy at Atletico, who he is contracted to until 2025 with the option of a further year, but he does have a release clause believed to be below the €25m (£22m) mark.

That figure is likely to put top clubs on alert, and could leave Atletico with a dilemma if they start receiving offers.

Griezmann is very popular at Atletico having made 341 appearances for the club across two separate spells under Diego Simeone.

However, his £345,000-per-week wage packet is a strain on the club’s finances, as they were initially unable to register Axel Witsel last summer due to exceeding their salary limit.

Simeone limited Griezmann’s minutes in the first part of the season to avoid triggering a clause that would see Atletico pay Barcelona £35m to sign him permanently, before they eventually agreed to pay £17m, which allowed Griezmann to start playing more regularly.

Atletico’s financial situation remains an issue, and it cannot be ruled out that the club could look to move him on in order to get his wages off their books.

L’Equipe’s report claims PSG are yet to show concrete interest in Greizmann despite being linked with him, while Saudi Arabia are keen to bring him over to the Middle East, but they have very little chance of being successful with their pursuit.

The 32-year-old is keen to end his career in the US, though, following in the footsteps of former Barcelona team-mate Lionel Messi who has agreed to join Inter Miami.

He visited New York last week, and reportedly spoke to some MLS players, as he weighs up his options about when to make the move Stateside.
