Apple Music has officially launched inside Facebook Messenger meaning users can stream and share songs while chatting to friends.

Apple Music subscribers will be able to stream full songs from within Messenger.

Non-subscribers will be allowed to share and listen to 30-second clips.

To access the new feature, which has been rolled out globally, click the ‘+’ sign in a one-on-one of group chat in the Messenger app.

Users can also sign up to Apple Music directly via Messenger.

By tapping the ‘+’ sign, users will be able to add the Music chat extension to those conversations.

Users can also sign up to Apple Music directly via Messenger.

Before this, users could only build Spotify playlists together in Messenger and Facebook’s AI assistant M.

‘Launching globally today, Apple Music and its chat extension will start to be available to the 1.3B people who use Messenger’, developers wrote on a Messenger blog.

The update has been rolled out globally, and considering Facebook released version 137.0 of the Messenger iOS app yesterday.

Facebook first announced plans for Spotify and Apple Music to integrate in Messenger in April of this year.
