Ariana Madix’s brother Jeremy arrested on marijuana trafficking charges in Florida

Ariana Madix’s younger brother is in trouble with the law and could be facing serious jail time.

Jeremy Madix, who has appeared on camera with the 39-year-old Vanderpump Rules star several times, was arrested in Florida Tuesday, August 13, and charged with felony trafficking in cannabis.

The charges stem from an incident in February, in which Jeremy and another man, Jonah Ahad, were picked up by police after customs officers discovered three suitcases allegedly belonging to them that were stuff with more than 100 pounds of marijuana, according to court documents obtained by TMZ. 

The pair were reportedly scheduled to fly from Orlando to Frankfurt, Germany at the time of the incident. 

Documents indicated two of the suitcases belonged to Jeremy and combined contained 64 bags of marijuana that weighed a total of 76 pounds.

Another suitcase that allegedly belonged to Ahad was packed with 31 bags of cannabis that weighed 37 pounds, according to officials.

According to documents, the two declined to speak with officers, as they did not have an attorney present, and they were released. 

Ahad was arrested in May.

Both face charges of felony trafficking in cannabis.

According to Florida law, the duo face between three and 30 years behind bars and a $25,000 fine if convicted.

It’s unclear if Ariana will be standing behind her brother as he faces this serious legal battle.

Jeremy, who has been arrested for violating a restraining order obtained by his ex-girlfriend several times in 2011, revealed in March he had not spoken to his famous sister in several months, revealing he was unhappy about the way she treated his fiancée, Racheal.

‘I just want to clarify that I haven’t talked to my sister due to me having to stand up for my fiancée,’ he told The Sun at the time.

He told the outlet, the last communication was in December 2023, when he sent a text with the message, ‘I love you so much. I would love to talk to you soon.’ 

Jeremy said Ariana, who is starring in Chicago on Broadway, did not open the message or respond to it. 

‘She’s always kind of seen herself as my protector, and I would say most certainly we could get to a point of being closer. That’s kind of what I’m yearning for’ he told the outlet.
