An Arkansas waitress was left stunned after a customer tried to pay with a credit card that had been stolen from her just days earlier.
Flora Lunsford, 58, who works at Shannon’s Restaurant in Pine Bluff, Arkansas was about to run Shamon West’s credit card when she noticed her own name appearing on the plastic that he had given her.
Lunsford’s purse had been stolen two days prior after her car had been broken into at a gas station, two blocks away from Shannon’s Restaurant.

Officers arrested 21-year-old Shamon West after handing server Flora Lunsford, 58, her own credit card which he had stolen a few days earlier from her car which was broken into
Having no desire to pay for the other man’s meal, she instead decided to call the police who arrested the 21-year-old on the spot KATV reports.
Authorities then found that West also had a number of Lunsford’s other credit cards, her driver’s license and social security card.
CCTV footage showed the server’s car being broken into while she was inside the gas station’s store.

Police remain perplexed as to how West thought he could get away with paying Lunsford for his meal with her own credit card – or if it was just completely by chance.
‘The driver’s license had her picture on it,’ law enforcement officials told KATV. ‘Therefore, you would think he should have known what she looked like. Yet, he still handed her own credit card to her.’
