Police say the two victims were pistol-whipped by the suspects, despite complying with their demands.

The robbers reportedly ran off with $800 in cash.

‘Michael and I were in the office playing cards. We go in early for the customers in case they come,’ the shop’s owner told CBS Philly. He did not wish to be identified by name.

The owner described the robbers as uncoordinated and in a hurry.

‘There was somebody walking by our front, and they let the dog out,’ the shop owner said.

‘I told them to get the dog back in and the one gunman was standing in the doorway with a gun and a mask and somebody passed by and kept going,’ he said.

Employee Michael Pascale said he was surprised that the loose dog barking didn’t cause anyone to come in and help.

‘We stalled them as long as we could, figured cars driving by — somebody should have done something,’ he said.

The two men moved slowly to stall the robbery, so one of the robbers pistol-whipped him in the face.

Meanwhile, the other robber was fighting with the secretary in the back of the office, as shown in the video.

The owner was then pistol whipped in the face as the one robber tried to speed up the process.

One of the men’s masks slid up accidentally revealing his face during the robbery.

The business has been open for 47 years. The workers feel that neighbors could have been more helpful.

‘I have no problem going out of my way to help people, I don’t think I’m doing it any more,’ Pascale said.

‘It’s not worth it. No one’s gonna have your back, why should I have their back?’

Despite a cut to his eye – the owner will be okay.
