Woods famously started dating Ashley Madison when she was 19 and he was 59. They stayed together for six years.

Right after they split, the then 66 year-old started dating 20-year-old Kristen Bauguess making him more than three times her age.

This isn’t the first time Woods has been called out for his tweets about LGBTQ people.

Woods was criticized in July when he tweeted a photo of parents holding signs to support their gender creative child.

He wrote: ‘This is sweet. Wait until this poor kid grows up, realizes what you’ve done, and stuffs both of you dismembered into a freezer in the garage.’

After backlash, he wrote: ‘I spent my entire adult life in the New York theatre scene, kids. I have more gay friends than Liberace. So let’s stop the homophobia train.’

The erotic scene features Elio, portrayed by 21-year-old newcomer Timothée Chamelet.

‘The handful of sex scenes are tastefully shot but short and not particularly explicit, though Aciman’s famous peach scene — Google this at your own risk if you haven’t read the novel — is featured here in modest but unambiguous fashion’ writes Boyd van Hoeij, a film critic at The Hollywood Reporter.

Call Me By Your Name has been widely praise and has a 98 percent fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.  It hits theaters on November 24.

Actress Amber Tamblyn accused James Woods of creepily asking her out when she was just 16. She tweeted: ‘James Woods tried to pick me and my friend up at a restaurant once. He wanted to take us to Vegas. “I’m 16” I said. “Even better” he said.’
