A veteran has defended her decision to trade in army life to travel the world for free thanks to paid dating.
Lior Dvash, 23, is treated to all-expenses-paid trips to dreamy destinations including Thailand, Canada and Spain – accompanying men of all ages.
Ms Dvash said: ‘In the army it was not a fun experience, I didn’t go in hoping for a fun experience, I wanted to gain maturity and connect with my family that lives in Israel.

‘I wanted to travel for free. I’m a nice person, great company and was really broke after finishing my army service.’
Israeli-born Lior, who grew up in Canada but now lives in Brisbane, Australia, started taking the holidays shortly after leaving two years’ service in the Israeli army, where she held an educational position educating volunteers.
For the excursions, organised through website MissTravel.com, she travels to accompany men of all ages, not spending a penny and even being given a daily allowance and gifts including clothes and perfume.
But she admitted some people judge her for the decision, believe that she is ‘using the men’ despite them freely choosing to pay for her company.
‘I like meeting new people and seeing different perspectives, it’s not a big deal as long as you feel comfortable with the person,’ Ms Dvash said.
‘My friends all know but my family don’t know yet as it’s unnecessary for them to know. I tell them I’m going on vacation and they don’t know the details.

‘Some people make faces but it’s because they think using somebody is negative thing, in reality we all use one another for many reasons, this is life.
After leaving her army service in 2015, Lior started looking for ways to travel the world.

‘After being released from the army, I was travelling to the highest luxury five-star hotels with a spa and everyday room service – as a kid I was never allowed to order it,’ Ms Dvash said.

‘I’ve had day-in day-out massages every single day. When we stayed in the resort as everything was paid for, they also took me shopping and things like that.
‘In Malaga I was given cash and was taken on a day of shopping, I also was bought perfume.
‘In Toronto the gentleman gave me $800 for the city tour and in Koh Samui I received a daily allowance, a dive trip and perfume.’
Lior believes if you are smart you can gain a lot from the experience and maintains that she always vets every man before going on a date.
She added: ‘If they are weird I’m not obligated to go anywhere and also I make sure to have cash on me, the money will allow me to go back if I don’t want to stay.
‘As long as you speak with them over facetime and use common sense that’s really important.
‘Miss Travel is a great experience, anybody who is comfortable with themselves should try it out and there are a lot more benefits than cons.’
