After taking a few deep breaths, Fein stoops down and lifts the 275lb barbell clean off the ground. 

Incredibly, he manages to maintain his balance on the single leg, before throwing the weight down and shouting ‘Yeah!’

Fein was wounded 10 years ago while serving in Iraq.

Since the injury, he has spent a lot of time focusing on improving himself psychologically and physically.

‘One day about a year ago I started dead-lifting with one leg because I’ve never dead-lifted before and I have a natural ability to be strong there,’ he said.

‘This dead lift was 275lb and it took me almost six months to get to that point but I’m working to get more hopefully 300lb or more one day and I am almost there.’
