Arncliffe, Sydney:  Man hit by 500kg of wet concrete at construction site on M6

A man has been rushed to hospital after being hit by 500kg of falling wet concrete.

The man, 38, was hit by the concrete at a construction site in Sydney’s south on the M6 motorway at Marsh St in Arncliffe at 2am on Thursday morning.

He has been taken to St George Hospital and is reported to be in a stable condition. 

Paramedics rushed to the scene and treated the man for neck and wrist injuries, police told Seven News.

The incident is being treated as a workplace accident and has been referred to SafeWork NSW.
