Bridgerton has confirmed which sibling romance will take centre stage in season four of the show ahead of its release.
Following the conclusion of the third season – which focused on the pairing of Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton – the upcoming series will shine the spotlight on Benedict (Luke Thompson) and Philipa (Harriet Cains).
Announcing the news, Netflix released a teaser trailer showcasing some of the Bridgerton sibling’s moments, before Thompson opens up a door as he invited to try on an outfit for the masquerade ball.
Aside from their impending romance on the set, the duo have formed a strong bond off-screen too.

Who is Luke Thompson’s girlfriend and Bridgerton co-star Harriet Cains?
Born in Nottingham in 1993, Harriet Cains first delved into acting after taking classes took at a drama club called Circle Up.
While training at the Television Workshop, she was cast in a series of short films while also appearing in Hollyoaks Later – a spin-off of the famous British soap.
Starring as Jem Walker – the sister of the protagonist and formerly wild zombie Kieren Walker – in the supernatural BBC Three series In The Flesh, Harriet said that she watched documentaries about post-traumatic stress disorder and anxiety to help her prepare for the role.
She has also taken on various supporting roles, including the character of Lizzie Hallum in the popular crime series Vera, as well as the role of Jade Hopkirk in Line Of Duty.
After featuring as single mother Gail Donovan in the British Nordic detective series Marcella, Harriet gained her major breakthrough on Bridgerton with her portrayal of Philippa Featherington.
Her performances saw her nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award for Oustanding Performance by an Ensemble in 2021 – her second major nomination after scooping an award at the 2018 European Short Film Festival of Nice.
She has been an ever-present member of the Bridgerton cast since the show launched in 2020 – with all eyes set to be on Harriet and Luke’s on-screen antics after news of their blossoming off-screen romance.

Thompson had been spotted attending various showbusiness parties with Ms Cains – despite denying any presence of a romance off-screen.
