A young mother has claimed to have captured an eerie voice of a ghost whispering ‘hurt her’ after she was chasing her toddler around the house.
Ash Birdy, from Queensland, started recording the video after her mother asked whether her two-year-old grandson Ben was behaving following weeks of outbursts.
The 15-second footage shows the 23-year-old mother ordering her cheeky son out of the kitchen before he dashes to the living room.
But after replaying the clip, Ashy said she could hear the spine-tingling voice in the last two seconds, in which she believed was a paranormal activity.

‘At first I was replaying it over and over, trying to figure out what I was hearing or what could’ve made the sound,’ she told Daily Mail Australia.
Unsure what she was listening to, the mother shared the video in a group on social media to see what the other viewers thought.
And much to her surprise, she was shocked to read what people suggested.
‘Initially I heard more like an “ahhh, die” and so I chucked it on a Facebook group to see if others heard it, and almost instantly I was receiving responses pretty much telling me to burn down the house and move,’ she said.
‘The general reaction was that it says “hunter” or “hunt her” – which is now all I hear when I listen to it too, which was a bit creepy considering I had hoped to get some validation that I was being silly, instead of confirming my fear.
‘Some even implied that whatever made the sound was responsible for my son’s behaviour lately or that something was attached to him, or that it was encouraging him to hunt or hurt me.’

Since sharing the footage, Ashy said she has had ‘lots of people who claimed to be empaths reacting pretty strongly’ to the clip
The mother said American television series Dinotrux was playing on Netflix in the background while she filmed the scene.
‘In the background you can hear Dinotrux but after analysing it a lot, I think the whisper is too close to the phone compared to the yelling on TV,’ she said.
‘A few people wondered if maybe it was the TV but I don’t think so.’
Since sharing the footage, Ashy said she has had ‘lots of people who claimed to be empaths reacting pretty strongly’ to the clip.
‘There’s been lots of tears, nausea and anxiety. Multiple people even claimed things moved around their own house after watching,’ Ashy said.
‘It was weird. I want to say it was my own breathing or something. And I might even come to that conclusion if that had been the end of it.’
‘But it wasn’t.’

Ashy said another explanation she could think of was an old vault she recently received from an aged-care hospital – the same time her son’s behaviour started getting difficult
Ashy said another explanation she could think of was an old vault she recently received from an aged-care hospital.
‘A big vault we were given around the same time Ben’s behaviour started getting difficult, two weeks prior to the video,’ she explained.
‘Some viewers said that perhaps that was connected. The vault was given to me by my Dad. It’s from an aged care hospital.
The mother said since the supernatural encounter, she has noticed strange vibes happening around her home.
‘The energy in the house got awful. My son came banging on his door to get out, pointing in the room and talking about a storm – it wasn’t storming,’ she said.
‘He has been refusing to go back in. I ended up videoing around the house again later at the request of some viewers and awfully enough, the audio in that video glitches both times I walked back past the same spot that made the whisper near the kitchen.
‘My toddler and I slept cuddling on the couch. He has never left his room like that at night before.’
