Ashes: England fan caught napping during Australia innings at Headingley

Are you not entertained? Cricket fan falls asleep on the ROOF of a house after taking a spot to watch England and Australia’s enthralling Ashes clash

England made a blistering start to the third Ashes Test, but one cricket fan wasn’t too captivated by the action at Headingley after being caught taking a nap on the roof of a house in Leeds.

Stuart Broad, Mark Wood and Chris Woakes got England off to a flyer as Ben Stokes’s side looked to keep their series hopes alive on Thursday, with the trio dismissing David Warner, Usman Khawaja and Marnus Labuschagne respectively.

The Headingley crowd – who had treated the Aussies to a hostile reception before play – were enthralled by England’s performance with the ball, but one fan who had a unique vantage point for the game didn’t appear too enamoured.

Footage from Sky Sports showed the fan strewn on the top of a Leeds house, appearing to take a quick nap during the morning session.
