Amazing bodycam footage shows the moment officers from the Atlanta Police Department rescued a dog from a burning building.
Fire crews and officers arrived at the blazing apartment building. While searching in the area, Officer Robert Winkler found the dog unresponsive.
He pulled the pup from the flames and another officer wrapped the animal in her coat.

An EMT gave the dog an oxygen mask, which helped resuscitate him.
The dog has now taken on the name ‘Smokey’ and is available for adoption, according to Atlanta police.
‘We are so incredibly proud of the compassion and love our officers showed for this animal, thank you,’ the department wrote on their official Facebook page.
‘We also thank the firefighters with Atlanta Fire Rescue and Grady’s emergency responders for helping save Smokey.
