He’s currently making a bid to return to the Premier League after two years with Spanish club Atlético Madrid.
Yet Kieran Trippier didn’t look like he had a care in the world as he enjoyed a relaxing holiday in Ibiza with his wife Charlotte.
The former Tottenham Hotspur player, 30, soaked up the sunshine at the Nobu Hotel on Tuesday while his partner, 29, perched on the edge of his sunlounger.

Kieran, meanwhile, opted for a pair of turquoise swimming trunks that showcased his athletic and tattooed physique.

The childhood sweethearts got engaged in Cyprus in the summer of 2015 before tying the knot in June the following year.
The couple, who currently live in Madrid, are parents to four-year-old son Jacob, and daughter Esme Rose, two.
The family holiday comes after it was revealed Kieran is prioritising a return to the Premier League next season following his involvement in England’s run to the Euro 2020 final.

The Atletico Madrid full-back played a key role in England’s runners up finish at the tournament, making five appearance including three starts – one of which came in the final defeat to Italy.
Kieran is now turning his attentions to resolving his club future amid major interest from Manchester United.
Sportsmail reported this week that it’s the star’s preference to return to England following two seasons in the Spanish capital under Diego Simeone.

Kieran only has a season left to run on his deal with Atletico, not two as has been previously suggested.
There are options to extend his contract at The Wanda Metropolitano, but as it stands his deal expires at the end of the forthcoming season.
Manchester United saw their attempts to sign Kieran rebuffed by Atletico earlier this summer – but the Old Trafford club remain interested in landing the defender ahead of the new campaign.

His impressive displays for England during the Euros have also attracted interest from at least two Premier League clubs, but the prospect of joining United is an obvious attraction for Kieran, who was born in neighbouring Bury.
Kieran has been a mainstay of Atletico’s team since his arrival from Tottenham ahead of the 2019-20 season.
But while he impressed in Spain, the right back is setting his sights on a return to the English game.
It appears, however, that Atletico will not let him leave without a fight and value Kieran at around the £30million mark.
