  • Mechanism lifted truck back up before it comically fell over on its side again

Hilarious footage has emerged of a truck that toppled on to its side being restored to four wheels before falling over again.

The large vehicle slid over after losing control down a hill in New Zealand, requiring heavy machinery to lift it back upright.

However, the mechanism worked too well and when the truck gained too much momentum it ended up tipping over the other side in a comical moment for emergency services and amused onlookers.

The footage was captured on Tuesday morning in the Kaimai Ranges in New Zealand’s north island.

The truck rolled while driving down State Highway 29 and was blocking two lanes, requiring police to attend.

Cables were attached to the vehicle to help lift it back up, but the machine dragged it up too fast and it fell over again.

‘We saw a food truck getting pulled back on to its wheels. We thought it was very funny as it was obvious the truck was going to do exactly what it did,’ a witness told Stuff.

‘It was downhill and we could tell there was food in it being pushed against the wall when it hit the ground, forcing the truck over.’

No one was injured in the spill and there were no liquids reported to have leaked from the truck.
