Tech addicts can make massive savings when JB Hi-Fi stores open their doors on Thursday for the Boxing Day Sales.

The Australian electronics retailer has launched its ‘End of Year Madness’ sale with prices slashed on everything from Dyson products, HD TVs and laptops to smartphones, hair styling tools, coffee machines and photo printers.

Stellar bargains featured in the 11-page catalogue include 10 per cent off all Apple Mac computers while all CDs and vinyl records are 20 per cent off.

Dyson products have also been reduced, with Cyclone V10 Animal knocked down to $699, from the original price of $999. 

All gaming gear has been slashed by 20 per cent, while smartwatches, blood pressure monitors and scales are 25 per cent off. 

For movie buffs, there’s also 30 per cent off Blu-rays, 4K and DVDs while there’s a buy one get one free offer on movie and television box sets.

If you’re after a new television, the Sony X8500G 85′ 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV has seen the price drop by $1,300 to $3495, from the original price of $4795. 

Other great deals include 50 per cent off the JBL Link 300 Voice-Activated Speaker and Garmin Vivoactive 3 GPS Smartwatch. 

Bargains on Fitbits start from $129.

The sale begins Thursday and ends New Years Day.

The National Retail Association expects Australian shoppers to spend $2.62 billion on Boxing Day alone.

Roy Morgan and the Australian Retail Association estimates Australians will spend almost $19 billion from Boxing Day to January 15.

‘These figures suggest quieter post-Christmas retail trade than we would have hoped,’ ARA executive director Russell Zimmerman said.

‘We’ve also just come through a period that has included Black Friday and Cyber Monday in quick succession, so the heavy traffic these events generated are likely to dampen post-Christmas demand.’
