Aussie boxing star Nikita Tszyu marries in wedding so secret even his MUM was in the dark

Aussie boxer Nikita Tszyu has married his girlfriend in an incredibly secret ceremony just weeks after his older brother and fellow fighter Tim tied the knot.

Tszyu, who is known for staying out of the spotlight, wed his girlfriend Nikita Bedwell on Wednesday, with just his famous father Kostya, brother Tim and Ms Bedwell’s dad there as witnesses.

When Tszyu’s mother was asked about the ceremony, she revealed that she had only just been informed about the wedding taking place.

‘If the couple are happy — I’m blessing them both!’ she told News Corp.

Tszyu, known as ‘The Butcher’ for his aggressive style in the ring, is much more reserved in his personal life.

There is barely a photo of his partner on social media or from public events, with many outsiders unaware that he was even in a relationship.

The wedding was reportedly rushed, requiring Tszyu and his wife to make an application with a registrar on Monday.

Couples wanting to get married are required by law to give a month’s notice, but Bedwell and Tszyu were able to get around this.

Last month, Nikita’s brother Tim married his longtime partner Alexandra Constantine in an intimate Sydney wedding ceremony.

The couple, who have been together eight years, sealed their marriage vows in Sydney’s east in front of 120 guests.

Tszyu, and Nikita, were dressed in stylish black Armani suits – while Alexandra wore a stunning designer dress by Steve Khalil.

Tim’s Hall of Famer dad, Kostya, was in attendance for the ceremony, dressed in a baby blue suit.

A convoy of luxury cars drove from the boxer’s house in Caringbah to the wedding ceremony.

The 30-year-old pug recently opened up about the wedding news when speaking on the No Limit podcast.

‘I’m getting married,’ he told George Rose.

‘Boxing can’t compete with my missus,’ he said. ‘I love her to death and that’s my number one priority right now.

‘I always put boxing as number one, throughout my whole life you know, boxing, boxing boxing.

‘You come back and you start to think, you know what, family is actually number one.’

The pair met at a boxing class in Rockdale 2016, and it was love at first sight for Tszyu.

The fighter, who normally refuses to hold the pads for anyone else, was smitten. It was her smile that did it, he said.

Once the class ended the pair began chatting and the two have been inseparable ever since.

Constantine, who is fluent in English, French and Macedonian, has been ringside at most of Tszyu’s professional fights.

She told press last week that getting married was less stressful than one of her husband’s fights.

‘In terms of vibes and nerves, a wedding is a walk in the park compared to a fight,’ Alexandra told News Corp.

‘Give me a wedding any day. We’ve actually planned it in a really short time – around six weeks, which is unheard of.

‘Tim’s weight cut is usually longer than six weeks, so we’re doing well.

‘We have about 120 guests, keeping it small and beautiful.

‘We’ve also managed to secure a really special location for our shoot, which has never been done before, but you’ll have to wait to find out.’
