A diehard supporter of Vladimir Putin was filmed launching into a bizarre tirade calling Australian police Nazis after he was arrested for gatecrashing a Liberal MP’s event.

Simeon Boikov, nicknamed the Aussie Cossack, tried to enter the Drummoyne Sailing Club in Sydney’s inner west at 4.50pm on Wednesday.

An event was being held at the venue for Reid MP Fiona Martin before Mr Boikov was escorted off the premises by two police officers.

His partner filmed the moment Mr Boikov complained police were inflicting ‘grievous bodily harm’ as they placed handcuffs on him, slammed the arrest as an attack on freedom of speech and told an officer to stop touching ‘my penis’.

‘Gentlemen, this is democracy manifest,’ he says. ‘The Aussie Cossack is very happy they loosened the cuffs. You can see grievous bodily harm on the wrists.

‘You can observe the bruising. It’s very serious. Poor Mrs Cossack is looking on in horror. How do you feel about your husband being treated like this?

‘It’s just like the Nazis, in the gulags, in the concentration camps.’

Mr Boikov went on to condemn Ms Martin claiming she was attacking his ‘freedom of speech’.

‘Well Fiona Martin, I hope you’re happy,’ he says. ‘This is what you wanted. You wanted to arrest journalists. You wanted to fight freedom of speech.’

The 32-year-old appeared undeterred by the handcuffs and campaigned for Ms Martin to be kicked out of office.

He accused several politicians of being in a ‘love triangle’ before he made one last declaration as he was led to the police van.

‘The Cossack is going in for the people against the Liberal party, against the tyranny of Fiona Martin and her police tactics. Just remember, this is for freedom.

‘As I was being arrested I sang, ‘Waltzing Matilda’. That’s who we are. The swagmen, being oppressed by the troopers. One, two, three. Here they are.’

The officer asks Mr Boikov if he has anything in his pockets before searching his pants.

‘Please stop touching my penis,’ Mr Boikov says, lightheartedly.

A NSW Police spokeswoman said a 32-year-old man became ‘argumentative’ with staff before he was taken to Burwood Police Station.

‘Officers from Burwood Police Area Command spoke with the man, who continued to be argumentative and refused to leave when requested,’ she said.
