The Aussie mum was quick to respond – and her expert reasoning came with advice many would soon follow.

‘Helps with the stinky smell they can have when opening a lunchbox at school,’ she explained to the commenter.

She added, ‘My daughter loves eggs but doesn’t like eating them at school because she gets the “ewww what’s that smell” from other kids.’

The commenter responded: ‘What a great idea! I will try that next time. Thank you.’
