Aussie Netflix star and her hairdresser husband put their flash Melbourne pad on the block for $7.5million

Former Yummy Mummies star Jane Scandizzo and her celebrity hairdresser husband Joey have put their lavish Melbourne home on the market.

The high-profile couple have listed their four-bedroom, four-bathroom property in the ritzy suburb of Toorak with a price guide of $7million—$7.5million.

Purchased in 2014 for $2.13million, the pair converted the original vintage home into a stylish ultra-modern dwelling.

Hairdresser to the stars Joey told the Herald Sun that the couple splashed out on the renovation thinking it would be their ‘dream home’.

‘When we built this house, we actually built thinking we were going to be there for a long time. But an opportunity came up and (it’s) something we’re going to do,’ he told the publication.

‘Our dream house is now going to be someone else’s dream.’

Situated 8km from the CBD, the redesign of the multi-level home maintained some of its classic features, including a verandah with checker paving and iron lace trimming.

Design features include European oak floors, floor-to-ceiling windows, a marble fireplace and concrete finishings.

Highlights include a spacious living and dining area that opens out to a pool area and sculptured garden.

Meanwhile, the property also offers a gym and studio built on the first floor above the double-garage.

The main bedroom has a walk-in wardrobe and en suite.

Stylist Joey Scandizzo is well-known among Melbourne’s celebrity A-list and is a four-time winner of Australian Hairdresser of the Year.

He counts Bec Judd, Paris Hilton, Vera Blue and Elle Macpherson as clients.

His wife Jane first made headlines as one of the stars of Seven’s 2017 reality series Yummy Mummies, which is now screening on Netflix.

The show followed four lavish mums-to-be as they awaited the birth of their children.

Jane also counts Bec Judd as a close friend.

As the show premiered, fans were agog at her Instagram, which showed Grand Prix red carpets, glossy film premieres and days out at the races.

Jane co-starred with three other ‘yummy mummies’ Maria DiGeronimo, Lorinska Merrington and Rachel Watts.

Jane created controversy ahead of the premiere when a trailer was shared on the Channel Seven Facebook page which showed her attending one of her friends’ baby showers.

‘She’s put the scan on a balloon!,’ she exclaimed about Maria DiGeronimo’s decision to emblazon her uterus on a decoration at her lavish party.

‘Does everyone need to see inside your uterus?’ another cast member added.

Yummy Mummies originally flopped when it premiere on Channel Seven back in 2017, hitting a tragic low of just 207,000 viewers for its final episode.

However, the show found a second life on Seven’s streaming platform, before being picked up by global giant Netflix late in 2018.

Yummy Mummies has become a runaway success since hitting Netflix, with the show’s ‘villain’ Maria’s Instagram following jumping from 60,000 followers to over 460,000.
