Aussie schoolgirls break the internet with viral muck-up day prank as they storm Macca’s dressed as Ronald McDonald

A hilarious muck-up day prank in Melbourne has gone viral.

A group of schoolgirls from Sacre Coeur in Glen Iris, Victoria have gained worldwide attention for dressing up as Ronald McDonald and causing mayhem.

Up to 100 girls, all dressed as the iconic clown, flooded into their local McDonald’s recently to celebrate the end of the school.

Several videos of the stunt featuring the students have amassed over 40 million views worldwide, drawing thousands of comments and more than 200,000 likes.

The girls sang and danced in the footage, while the staff watched on with amusement.

A few of the girls ventured behind the counter to pose for photos, while others were seen chatting with staff members.

Many of the girls who posted clips of the event to various social media platforms said that the store welcomed them.

‘They loved us,’ one of the students commented.

And it appears she was telling the truth, as the store’s manager invited the school leavers back in November to celebrate McHappy Day.

Opinion on the muck-up day prank was mixed, with some social media commenters sympathising with the staff.

‘I just know the workers were SO done,’ wrote one commenter, while another said, ‘I just know this would p*** me off so bad.’

However, many others took joy in the irreverent video.

‘Need more videos of this because WHAT?’ remarked another commenter.

‘What a bunch of clowns,’ joked someone else.

‘Depending on the day I was having, this would either make me burst into tears or burst out laughing,’ wrote one more person.
