Aussies reveal their best and worst celebrity encounters – as the rudest offender is revealed

Australians have revealed their wildest celebrity meetings and revealed which local stars are genuinely nice and which ones are less than lovely.

In a series of Reddit posts, hundreds of Aussies shared stories of their celebrity meetings, both good and bad.

From building a pool for a sporting legend to being snubbed by Australia’s sweetheart, you will be shocked by some of the tales told.

Some of the more polite interactions people had involved Hollywood legends Hugh Jackman and Margot Robbie.

One person claimed they ‘tried to pick up Margot Robbie at a house party in Melbourne in 2008 or 2009’, and while they weren’t successful, ‘she seemed like a nice chick’.

Another said they met Wolverine star Hugh, 54, when he was filming the movie Australia in Bowen, Queensland.

‘He came over to our group of starstruck locals milling about in Santa Barbara Parade and very politely thanked us for allowing them to film in our town and for making them feel so welcome,’ they wrote.

They went on to say they were ‘impressed’ by Hugh’s manners, adding that he seemed to be a ‘polite and humble bloke’.

Other local stars who got the all clear were Jessica Mauboy, who was ‘super kind’ to her fans, as well as the late great cricketer Shane Warne, who was called ‘one of the nicest guys’ a pool builder could work for.

Meanwhile, The Block host Scott Cam was labelled ‘arrogant’ after an alleged traffic incident with one Redditor.

‘My mate yelled out, “Nice driving, Scotty!” He replied, “Go and get f**ked!” Ruined his day just a touch more. Just thought it’d be funny,’ they claimed.

Delta Goodrem also made the naughty list when a hospitality worker claimed she was ‘such a diva’ to staff and that her ex-boyfriend Brian McFadden was ’embarrassed’ by her behaviour.

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Delta and Scott for comment.
