Australia vs New Zealand cricket: David Warner joins wife Candice in the crowd

Family fun day! David Warner spotted joining wife Candice and baby Isla in the crowd during Australia vs New Zealand cricket match in Melbourne

They welcomed the newest addition to the family, baby Isla, back in July.

And Candice Warner took her tiny tot to support her dad David at the cricket on Saturday, as they watched the second Test match between Australia and New Zealand at Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Candice, 34, was seen holding onto her gorgeous baby while her husband David, 33, briefly joined his family on the row behind them, as the dramatic match unfolded.

It’s unclear if the two were joined by their other two children – Ivy Mae, five, Indi Rae, three – but one of the little girls was spotted close to the family during the tense match.

David was of course dressed in full sporting attire for the occasion, while Candice was a vision in an eye-catching red dress.

They dressed their little girl in an adorable striped onesie.

Candice opted for minimal make-up at the event, and whisked her luscious locks into a casual ponytail as she cheered on her husband’s teammates.

The pair’s appearance comes just days after Candice revealed the attention cricket WAGs receive can be ‘way too much’ at times and she much prefers to ‘keeps to herself’ at matches.

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph on Thursday, she admitted she is more interested in cheering David on than becoming the centre of attention herself.

‘All I want to do is go to the cricket and support my husband,’ the mum-of-three said prior to attending the Boxing Day test match earlier in the week.

Candice continued: ‘We also understand that [attention] can be part and parcel at times. There’s always going to be more interest in their private life and what they do.

‘Everyone seems to love what the WAGs are up to.’

Discussing her approach to life as a WAG, she added: ‘I generally keep to myself, if I am at the cricket you’ll see me with friends and family or I’m sitting with my kids.’
