Australian fashion blogger reveals what it was like to be invited inside Kim Kardashian’s house

An Australian fashion blogger has revealed what it was like to be invited inside Kim Kardashian’s Bel Air mansion and what the star is like off camera.

Elle Ferguson, who is based in Sydney’s Bondi Beach, was one of only 20 people chosen to celebrate the launch of Kardashian-West’s KKW beauty range in 2017.

The personal invitation came as a shock to the 32-year-old who thought she might have accidentally received it on behalf of supermodel Elle Macpherson.

An Australian fashion blogger has revealed what it was like to be invited inside Kim Kardashian’s Bel Air mansion and why she had to ask for three selfies with the superstar entrepreneur

‘I had no idea how she had seen me or knew who I was,’ Elle told Mamamia’s Social Squad podcast.

Not believing it was real the bubbly blonde didn’t pay much attention to the original invite – until she received a follow up message from Kim’s PR representative some days later.

The launch would involve flying to Los Angeles – something Elle would personally have to pay for – so she tried to leverage a better deal.

Despite the knock back Elle’s fiancé Joel Patfull encouraged her to take the leap and book a ticket abroad anyway.

So with Kim’s address written down and a ‘glam’ team booked on the other side, Elle flew 14 hours across the ocean to visit the queen of reality TV.

When she arrived Elle had to present her passport before she was ushered inside along with a pack of beauty influencers, many of whom were ignoring her.

So instead of following them down the hall she veered right and walked straight into the arms of Kris Jenner, who knew exactly who she was.

‘I spent the first part of the evening with Kris and Kim because I happened to walk into the right part of the house,’ she said.

She managed to score a number of photos by the end of the night, mainly because after one set were taken Elle didn't like the way she looked in them

So she asked for another, and even a third with the most famous Kardashian.

Kim obliged and wasn’t trying to get her ‘best angles’ in front of the camera, she was completely natural, Elle said.

Kris and Kim even gave special video shout outs to Elle’s manager and publicist, Camille Thioulouse from Communique Group, and her former business partner Tash Sefton.

After the event Elle told Daily Mail Australia that Kim was ‘beautiful and nice’.

‘You meet people all the time and they can have a persona that doesn’t match up, but hers does,’ she said.

‘She was so proud of the beauty line and what she’s done. I find people that are authentic, are people that just go about their business and get it done. They don’t stand there screaming about it.

‘I see her as a businesswoman and not a celebrity. She is that person of our generation. For someone to be able to market herself and build an empire, that’s inspiring.’

Elle shared snaps with members of Kim’s inner circle including her make-up artists Mario Dadinovic and Joyce Bonelli, plus friends Malika and Khadijah Haqq.
