A competition for Shannon Noll to ‘rock your wedding’ has been mercilessly trolled with references to his X-rated rant against a crowd member in 2018.

Noll posted a link to the competition on Wednesday, which is only open to Australian residents who have purchased two wedding bands from Simon Curwood Jewellers.

But Facebook users flooded the comment section, referencing how Noll told an crowd member he would ‘f*** your missus and your mum’ at the Duck Creek Picnic Races in July 2018.

‘Guys, I can confirm Nollsy will provide a great time,’ one man wrote, followed by an unprintable joke.

‘Songs were good though, and I still have his mower so I’ve got one up on him… I guess.’

He was also referencing a 2018 Instagram post, in which Noll said: ‘Whoever I borrowed this lawn mower off can come get it now, I’ve finished my lawn!’

Another person wrote: ‘Nollsy you cheeky big fella, you’d walk in and take the bride, hens party, mothers of the bride and groom and get paid for it!’

‘He’d be through the entire bridal party in minutes then move onto the mums. Or so he says,’ one commenter joked.

Meanwhile, one person wrote: ‘As an additional benefit, Nollsy will knock out any of the guests who get too drunk and act like a d***head.’

‘That f***head in the tie… Come on pretty boy, you’re a f****g maggot. Have some f*****g balls and come up here instead of throwing something from there!’ he said.

‘Cheap shot p***k… Shame that p***k! Shame that motherf****r right there. F***head private school stupid f*** head motherf****r!

‘Have some balls and come up here and I’ll punch your f**king teeth down your throat, dog a*** p***k!

‘Then I’ll f*** your missus and your mum!’

The singer then launched into a rendition of Daryl Braithwaite’s classic, ‘The Horses’.

Noll later apologised for his behaviour and language in a lengthy Facebook post. He explained that a beer can almost hit him in the head but said it was 'no excuse'

Noll later apologised for his behaviour and language in a lengthy Facebook post.

‘During our set there were people in the audience throwing cans and bottles at the stage and after one guy threw a full can, just missing my head it really rattled me,’ he wrote.

‘We’re just doing our job and these actions are not acceptable.

‘I completely understand that that is still no excuse for the way I spoke and I am deeply sorry for the terrible things I said that were purely out of frustration.’

In a promotional video for the wedding competition, Noll proposed to his wife Rochelle for a second time on stage during a concert.

Noll and his wife share four children and celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary in May 2020.
