Australian Idol’s Stan Walker offers fans an update

He recently caused concern after his manager confirmed the singer was battling a mysterious health issue.

But on Friday, former Australian Idol star Stan Walker seemed to be good spirits as he was treated to a new pair of glasses. 

The X Factor New Zealand judge took to his Instagram Story on Friday to thank a friend for gifting him the new spectacles, claiming he hadn’t be able to see  for ‘a little while’.

‘Big shout out to Bailey Nelson for hooking me up with these gangster specs,’ Stan said in the footage while the fresh frames.

‘So good to see again. Haven’t been able to see for like a little while now so it’s good.

‘My last ones got stolen so shame on you little thief.’

His management told Newshub last Friday that the singer was battling an undisclosed health issue.

‘He has had some challenges healthwise but he will be back and working towards a new single release in March,’ Stan’s management told the publication.

Concerned fans later took to the comments sections of Stan’s Instagram account to check up on the star’s health, asking him if he was ‘feeling OK’.

‘People of the gram ralax ur undies, no1 is sick or dying (sic),’ Stan responded. 

He continued: ‘Gooosh man all the over dramaticness just wait till u hear me sing & u will know (sic)’.
