Australian Jarryd Hughes has hung on to claim silver in a breathtaking final of the men’s snowboard cross.
Frenchman Pierre Vaultier lead throughout, with Hughes constantly on his tail until he ran wide on one of the final corners, allowing Spaniard Regino Hernandez to close the gap.
The race came down to the final jumps, with Hughes just holding on to claim silver.
Compatriot Alex ‘Chumpy’ Pullin did not medal.
