Australian killed in Beirut horror blast is revealed to be two-year old little boy – as his distraught family reveal their heatbreak over the loss of their ‘beautiful son’

A two-year-old boy named Isaac Oehlers has been identified as the Australian who was killed in the massive explosion which rocked the Lebanese capital earlier this week.

The horror blast tore through large sections of Beirut on Wednesday, killing at least 157 people. 

The family of Isaac say they are heartbroken by the horrific tragedy.

‘We are heartbroken by the sudden and tragic loss of our beautiful boy following the disaster in Beirut,’ the family said in a statement.

‘Isaac was two and will be deeply missed by family and friends. 

‘The family would like to thank everyone who has offered comfort and support to us, and would like to express our condolences to everyone in Lebanon who is suffering from this devastating tragedy.’
