An Australian mother has disappeared after travelling to war-torn Iraq to recover her two kidnapped children.
The anonymous woman, known as Ms Alfarsi, travelled to the Middle East last year to recover her six and eight-year-old children, Daily Telegraph reported.
Her family are growing increasingly concerned with the safety of Ms Alfarsi’s safety as they have not heard from her since she left on November 14.

Ms Alfarsi claims the children’s father took her children back to Iraq and believes they travelled on forged passports because she never gave written permission for them to travel with the man.
Documents in a Family Court Judgement show the father, known as Mr Elhage, attempted to have his name removed from a list preventing him from leaving the country.
He then successfully left the country with his two children on September 29, 2014.
Ms Alfarsi has since travelled to Iraq three times trying to find and retrieve her children under strict guidelines from the Federal Circuit Court of Australia. They granted her an order requiring the father to facilitate the children’s return.

Mr Elhage’s legal team responded to the order, saying his mother was looking after the children in the nation’s south and could not bring them to Australia because she was not a citizen. He also said she was too sick to obtain a tourist visa.
Ten days after Ms Alfarsi most recently travelled to Iraq, her solicitor contacted her estranged mother to notify her that her daughter had remarried.
Her concerned family have attempted to have her Legal Aid, being provided by the Australian government, cancelled after hearing of the news.
