Australian Ninja Warrior star shares heartbreaking message following the tragic death of his beloved brother

A former Australian reality star has shared a heartbreaking tribute to his ‘fearless’ brother, who died in a snorkeling accident in Western Australia on Monday.

Zed Colback, 29, who competed on Australian Ninja Warrior in 2018, took to Instagram this week to pay tribute to his late brother Sam.

Colback shared a gallery of precious family photos capturing him and Sam living life to the fullest while rock climbing and parasailing and captioned it with some sad words.

‘Love ya little bro. Wish we could go on one last adventure together,’ he began.

In a tragic twist, Zed and his wife Nicole welcomed their baby daughter last month.

He went on to share his sadness that she will grow up never knowing her uncle.

‘Our little Amara will learn all about her crazy loving, big hearted, fearless uncle Sam as she grows up. See you in glory.’

The body of Sam Colback was recovered from the water in Albany, on the southern tip of WA.

Zed comes from a large family of 13 siblings and told 7News he wished he could have spent more time with his late brother.

‘You’re never at the time thinking you’ll look back at those moments as some of the final memories of someone.

‘We took every chance to get out and do something. We were on the same wavelength.’

Sam’s funeral will be held in Western Australia in the near future and the Colback family is raising money for it through a GoFundMe page.
