Australian Ninja Warrior star Zed Colback honours his late brother Samuel at barefoot beach funeral following tragic death from a snorkelling accident

Australian Ninja Warrior star Zed Colback suffered an immense tragedy earlier this month when his younger brother Samuel died in a snorkeling accident.

The former reality star, 29, shared an update to Instagram on Thursday revealing Sam’s beachside funeral will be livestreamed on social media later that day.

Posting a photo of his younger brother looking at the sunset at a Perth beach, Zed invited family, friends and fans to watch the service live on Facebook. 

‘Please join us to honour and celebrate the full and vibrant life of Sam. Ocean’s Church, Albany, shoes optional,’ he wrote. 

‘We will swap some love and stories of Sam,’ Zed added.

Zed also shared a throwback photo of a shirtless Sam grinning in his car seat. 

Sam was just 24 years old when he died during a solo snorkelling trip in Western Australia earlier this month. 

His body was recovered from the water in Albany, on the southern tip of WA.

Zed, who competed on Australian Ninja Warrior in 2018, paid tribute to Sam in a touching post following the tragedy.

He shared a gallery of precious family photos capturing him and Sam living life to the fullest while rock climbing and parasailing and captioned it with some sad words.

‘Love ya little bro. Wish we could go on one last adventure together,’ he began.

‘Our little Amara will learn all about her crazy loving, big hearted, fearless uncle Sam as she grows up. See you in glory.’
