‘Come on Roger!’ Cricket legend Shane Warne appears downcast as he watches Novak Djokovic beat Roger Federer at the Australian Open
He’s known to be one of the greatest cricketers in the world.
And on Thursday, it was crystal clear Shane Warne also takes his tennis very seriously as he watched Novak Djokovic take on Roger Federer at the Australian Open.
During the game, the 50-year-old retired sportsman shared a pictured of Roger on his Instagram Stories, which he captioned, ‘Come on Roger!’, as the 38-year-old began to lose to his rival.

In the snaps, the blond star was seen clenching his mouth together while sat with a pal, wearing a navy blue shirt that was unbuttoned to his chest.
Shane – who recently showed off his slimmed down figure on Instagram – teamed his look with a pair of black Prada sunglasses, and wore a luxurious gold watch on his wrist.
At one point, Shane was seen gesturing to a friend in disbelief, as he took his shades off for closer inspection at the match.

Federer said in a post-match interview that he almost retired from the match early, due to a groin injury he had carried into Thursday’s semi-final.
‘I (always) thought I was going to make it to be honest,’ he told media after his loss.

‘I went for a scan that night and was alright, and after that we didn’t push it. I didn’t practice, we took a day off the next day and today I really rested it to as late as possible.’

The actor and his wife, Rebecca Gleeson, looked to be Federer fans as they solemnly watched the match in front of them.

The animated 64-year-old appeared excited at the results, dramatically throwing his hands in front of his face before raising a huge smile.
